  • Observe relevant local and international regulations and the OHSAS 18001:2007 framework, supported by internal standards where needed.
  • Identify hazards with employees, assess risks and take preventive measures.
  • Work to prevent workplace accidents, occupational illness and environmental pollution.
  • Develop health, safety and environmental management through periodic review and performance monitoring.
  • Provide safety and environmental training and make relevant information accessible within the shipyard.
  • Manage waste appropriately, reduce resource use and use natural resources efficiently.
  • Make use of recycling and reuse in production processes.
  • Provide equipment and materials that protect employees and the environment, and check that they are used appropriately.
