Website and information you submit

This policy describes the current Gisan Shipyard website. The Contact form requires your name, email address, requested service and project details. Company, phone, vessel/project name, IMO number, vessel type and expected arrival/start date are optional. There is no identity-document or file-upload field, and the Careers page has no active application/CV collection form.

We collect these details electronically to evaluate and answer shipyard/service enquiries and discuss the request you submitted. This limited handling and form security rely on legitimate interest under Article 5(2)(f) of Law No. 6698, provided your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed. Receiving the notice is not conditional on approval or explicit consent. The form is not used for marketing, profiling or solely automated decision-making.

Security, recipients and retention

Security fields, validation and a pseudonymous rate-limit key derived from your IP address help prevent abuse. The key expires after 10 minutes and is not represented as anonymous data. The form does not save submissions to a separate website application database; enquiries are sent by email to relevant company teams. Necessary hosting and email infrastructure providers process data to operate these services. Email and infrastructure records are retained according to purpose, necessity and applicable obligations; no unverified universal retention period is promised.

Storage and optional map

See the Cookie Policy for first-party storage supporting language and basic functions. The Contact page does not load Google Maps on opening. The iframe is created only after you choose “View Map”. “Open in Google Maps” takes you to a separate Google page. These actions may connect your browser to Google servers and allow Google to process your IP and browser/device information through its own infrastructure, including outside Türkiye. Gisan is not the map provider; the component choice does not create a global consent record. Google cookies are not named or listed as if they had been observed.

Your rights

The Privacy Notice (KVKK) describes your Article 11 rights and form processing in detail. We may update this policy when actual services or applicable rules change.

Data-subject applications

For a KVKK application, send a signed written request stating its subject and the details necessary to identify you and handle your request to GİSAN GEMİ İNŞAA SAN. A.Ş., Aydıntepe Mah. Güzin Sok. No:11, 34947 İstanbul, Türkiye.

Include your name, signature for a written application, identification details required by applicable law, a residential or business address for notifications, relevant contact details if available, and the subject of your request. Do not send identity documents unnecessary for the request through the general Contact form, which has no file-upload facility.

Other methods permitted by the applicable KVKK rules may be used when their requirements are met: registered electronic mail (KEP), a secure electronic signature, a mobile signature, or an email address you previously notified to the company and which is registered in its systems. A dedicated application system, if established later, will be announced separately. This website does not publish a verified KEP address or claim to operate such a system.

info@gisanshipyard.com is for general contact and privacy questions. Sending an arbitrary email there does not by itself constitute a valid formal KVKK application; an electronic application must meet the applicable requirements. Valid applications are handled as soon as possible and at the latest within 30 days, according to their nature and applicable law.
